We don’t just provide space for your cat to sleep away the time until your arrival home, we pride ourselves on providing the best holiday experience that we possible can.

Payment must be made in advance, preferably by bank transfer, at least 3 weeks ahead of boarding, or within 72 hours of making a late booking (less than 3 weeks ahead).

The account name, if needed, for the bank verification process is  “Gillian McDonald” as sole traders are now recognised by their personal rather than business name. If bank transfer is not an option  we do accept cash by agreement



Bookings can be cancelled  up to 14 days before commencement with no penalty; cancellation between 6 and 13 days before commencement, the minimum charge of £56 will apply, any balance returned; 5 days or less, no refund, though any balance over £154 will be returned. Cancellation of the balance of a booking once boarding has commenced also subject to the £154 limit on the balance of funds.  Bookings made less than 14 days in advance must be cancelled within 72 hours of boarding confirmation being sent.

Minimum charge

Low season £55 (one cat)/£73 (other occupancy); High season £69/£93. High season covers times around school / public holidays. Does not include cost of any extras.




We offer a good range of  morning reception appointments, 6 days a week (excluding Sunday) as we know from many years of experience that morning arrivals and departures are the easiest, least stressful and safest option for our customers, our four legged guests and our staff – and particularly so during the current time. The quiet and peaceful atmosphere we provide for our guests is achieved by limiting our times of movement in and out.

If you are unable to collect yourself we offer a “ready to go” service and welcome a nominated friend or family member to collect on your behalf, on presentation of suitable ID.

Each appointment time is allocated at the time of booking (but may be amended up to 24 hours in advance, subject to availability) and covers a personal 10 minute window, as follows:

08.30 – 08.40

08.50 – 09.00

09.10 – 09.20

09.30 – 09.40 

09.50 – 10.00

10.10 – 10.20

10.30 – 10.40

In addition 08.10 – 08.20 is available for arrival only and 10.50 – 11.00 for departure only.

If you live outwith the area and require to drop off/ collect as part of an onward journey we will try our best to assist with a unique appointment time

Reception is closed on Sunday

Reception appointment times offer as much flexibility as possible to customers whilst ensuring a settled and peaceful stay for our guests. Due to Coronavirus we have recently introduced additional safety measures.

Unless a prior arrangement has been made:

  •  arrival/ departure will only be at the agreed appointment time.
  • we are unable to welcome visitors or customers dropping in, without an appointment.
  • reception will be locked outwith booked appointment times
  •  customer interaction (due to Coronavirus) is limited to one adult, per family.




Out of Hours appointments for drop off/ collection – are only available in unusual circumstances at the current time but are designed to offer a degree of flexibility when essential. £25.00

Medication – There is no charge for administering medications unless timings are unusual. Please note we only accept diabetic cats if they have boarded with us prior to diagnosis and we feel they will be accepting of their medication being given without stress and that they will settle quickly. This is entirely our decision.





Morning Departure – no charge for the day of departure if  booking exceeds minimum boarding charge.

Shared appointment using 2 apartments – Where one address has booked more than one apartment there is a one off £5 discount for each additional  apartment, arriving at the same appointment time.
