We don’t just provide space for your cat to sleep away the time until your arrival home, we pride ourselves on providing the best holiday experience that we possible can.

Payment in advance, at least 3 weeks ahead of boarding, or by return (for late bookings). By Bank Transfer (Cooperative Bank 68435727 08-92-50) or  cash  .

Cancellation policy : No penalty for change/ cancellation up to 6 days in advance, payment returned in full. Otherwise a charge equivalent to one week of boarding (or the whole amount if a shorter booking).

Minimum charge : Equivalent to 3 days single occupancy rate for suite, king suite or top pad (5 days in school holidays)

Highland Cats offers standard reception times 7 days a week.

Our reception times are chosen to offer as much flexibility as possible to customers whilst ensuring a settled and peaceful stay for our guests. No early or late arrival are possible without prior agreement.

PURR DATES – our special 3 – 5 minutes minimum of one to one “speed- date” with each cat, provided free of charge every day. Th “purr date” is uninterrupted time with our guests, getting to know them and, of course, making a complete fuss of them.

  • Week One – one per day (morning)
  • Week Two – two per day (morning and lunchtime)
  • Week Three – three per day (morning, lunchtime, teatime)
  • Week Four plus – four per day (as week 3, plus evening)


Medication Administration – There is no charge for administering medications unless timings are outside normal hours.

  • Morning Departure (9-10am): £3 discount
  • Afternoon Arrival (4.30 – 5.30pm): £3 discount
  • Reception discount (additional suite/same booking): £5 discount
